Updates are online and automatically install - no mucking about at all. I use all of these from time to time along with GE-Fanuc, Hitachi and IDEC. I also find the software easier to use, faster to program and very minimal cost compared to AB, Siemens and Schneider Unity. I must say that I am running Omron on Vista Business and have had absolutely NO issues at all. It works well for me and runs automatically every time I boot up the computer. I have now spent more time installing, activating, reinstalling, debugging and troubleshooting the Rockwell software than I have spend on the actual programming. I have been programming various PLCs since 1979. I paid good money recently for RSLogix500, RSLogix5000 and FactoryTalk ME for a project I needed to do.
